We are working with a leading student accommodation provider for University students Having recently moved into a brand-new office in London, their total headcount is just shy of 90 across the UK.
They are looking for a People Advisor to come into their London office and take ownership of everything across HR! They have some processes in place, but they could definitely be better, so you will be involved in projects alongside the general HR tasks and duties.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining HRIS system (training, sickness, appraisals, personnel data, payroll)
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries
- Support the recruitment/hiring process (background checks, shortlisting, employment contracts)
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- HR projects to improve our processes!
Who we are looking for:
- Experience within HR or a HR Administrator looking to excel their career
- Strong team working skills, as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise
- Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Proactive approach and able to work on own initiative at fast pace
- Ideally CIPD qualified
