People Manager at Boutique Management Consultancy

We are super excited to be partnered with a boutique management consultancy to find their next People Manager – this role is working with an independent management consultancy, who work across both London and New York offices. The business work across all stages of the transformation lifecycle to deliver both business and technology change. Currently c. 150 heads, the business is continuing to grow and scale, with this role crucial to their journey.

You will inherit one direct report (People Assistant) who you will be working closely with to achieve business objectives and will be working closely with Partners and Senior Business leaders on all People matters.

The People Manager will be responsible for:

  • People Operations: You will have ownership of People Ops, ensuring policy management and development, ensuring all policies are up to date and relevant training is being rolled out on these changes.
  • Process ownership and leadership: Ensuring all processes are being optimised and working on ongoing development of these.
  • HRIS and Data Ownership: A new HRIS (Bamboo) has been implemented and is being used of all core processes. You will be responsible for all continuous development, automation and utlilisation of Bamboo within the business.
  • DE&I: Working with partners to support development of People Initiatives including attraction and retention inline with DE&I objectives.
  • Employee Engagement: Providing wellbeing structure to employees and work on continuing to foster a positive working culture within the business.

The People Manager will have:

  • Strong People/ HR background, with demonstrated experience taking leadership with People matters within an organisation.
  • Experience working within a similar sized Management Consultancy, or Professional Services.
  • Sound understanding of generalist HR areas (Bens, Policy, Process, ER, Employee Lifecycle, DE&I, L&D and Wellbeing)
  • Management experience of a People Assistant.
