This is a role working for a series B FinTech on course to double in size in the next 12 months. Following recent investment, they are looking to grow in the US and are looking for a Talent Partner who can build the business from New York.

You'll play a pivotal role in scaling all business areas, but especially the sales team. You'll be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to drive our growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic startup environment, collaborating with passionate individuals committed to making a meaningful impact.

  • Collaborate closely with the talent team and sales leadership to understand the hiring needs of the sales team and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Utilise various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to source and attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management.
  • Work closely with the Talent Lead and People Team to analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team members, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Manage the candidate experience from application to offer stage, providing timely communication and support.
  • Ensure ATS is continually kept up to date so that it can be our ‘central source of truth’ in relation to hiring efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a strong pipeline of talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Proven experience building a team, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to work in the New York office 3 days a week.
  • Solid understanding of sales roles is preferred, and the ability to identify top sales talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
